Catfishing in Alabama is a past time that is enjoyed by thousands. People have grown up fishing, and can typically think back to a time where fishing left a lasting memory. Allow me to take you, your friends, and family on a guided tour through Alabama waters in search of larger than life catfish; which will help create long lasting memories.
Captain J.R. Hall
My name is J.R. Hall, and I have been fishing these waters for over thirty years. I am a passionate fishing boat captain, and I hope to share my knowledge and experiences with you. It is my goal to take you and your party on a riverside adventure to fish for the monster "cats" that live in the Alabama waters.
Blacksheep Catfishing Mission
We here at Blacksheep Catfishing strive to accomplish the most humane catch and release as possible. We spend most of our time trying to target trophy blue and flathead catfish here on the Tennessee River.
Ready to eat?
If the catfish are less than 15lbs, you are able to keep the fish for personal consumption.
Our Fishing Destinations
I am an avid fisher of the Tennessee River. Some of the locations of our guided fishing tours include:

However, these are just a few of the more common areas. If there are areas you would like to fish, just let me know and we can make that happen!
